The Seeds of Thought by Ruben White

 I cannot teach the world a single truth, 

Nor claim the stars that glitter in the night, 

Yet in the heart of each—youth claims its proof, 

A spark ignites, kindling the inner light. 

 

Like whispers soft, a breeze through Willow's sigh, 

I sow the seeds of wonder on the ground, 

They tremble, shy, beneath the vast blue sky, 

In quiet soil, their silent dreams abound. 

 

The river flows; potential intertwines, 

With every thought, a bridge to worlds unknown, 

Though I am but a compass with no signs, 

The path is theirs; in courage, they have grown. 

 

So here, I lend a hand, not to compel, 

But spark the flame in hearts where shadows dwell.
